Modernizing Legacy Insurance Systems With Agentic AI:
Lessons from the Field

Agentic AI makes big promises for insurance modernization. During this panel discussion, hear how AI and carrier leaders are sorting out what holds up, what doesn't and where people still matter most.

Most insurance carriers are running core systems that become more expensive to maintain and harder to staff every year while slowing key functions, like product development and rate updates.

Agentic AI tools now promise to help by compressing modernization timelines from months to weeks. Knowing which AI promises hold up, which don’t, and where you still need people in the loop is where most modernization efforts stall.

While many carriers already have agents helping developers, testers, and business analysts, those agents still work inside the same software development lifecycle (SDLC) carriers have always run. The bigger shift comes when orchestrated teams of agents compress the lifecycle itself, with governance built in from the start.

This panel brings together the people building these agentic systems and insurance executives who have made the call to modernize with agents firsthand. In the webinar, you will learn how insurance carriers are evaluating, piloting and scaling agentic AI to modernize legacy applications, and what separates a modernization effort that sticks from one that stalls.

What You Will Learn

Our insurance and AI strategy experts, along with insurance carrier executives, will cover:

  • How carrier leaders in P&C and L&A are thinking about AI's role in modernization, from core systems to new opportunities, and what they'd tell peers weighing the same decision.
  • Why adding AI agents to a traditional SDLC only gets you part of the way, and what changes when orchestrated, multi-agent teams work across a compressed lifecycle.
  • How to govern agent-driven delivery, from the guardrails and audit trails regulators expect to the checkpoints where people stay in the loop.
  • How to build a business case your CFO and board will approve, including realistic cost and timeline savings and the risks that compound the longer you wait.
We will conclude with practical next steps for carriers evaluating agentic-augmented modernization now, along with time reserved for audience Q&A.
